Juaini in the 'hood

I had my Journalism final today. I slept less than an hour last night because I was very, very desperate to do well in that class. I almost fell asleep on top of my lunch. I nodded off in the car on the way home. And yet...
This evening I went out to help my little brother take pictures of the neighbourhood for his Geography project. See, that's the kind of brilliant and wonderful sister I am. (Okay, actually I just miss shooting, but I really am a wonderful sister. haha) My top three for the day:
I miss my 20mm. *sigh*

... enough to help my friend Rahmah shoot for her class assignment. Mine was a movie poster; hers was an album cover. We selected the picture together, but she designed the cover for her own assignment. But this is how I would have done it:
I'm beginning to appreciate how difficult it is to set up good lighting. God knows I'm trying very hard with one flash, a wall, and a mounting board.
I have a lot to learn.

It's because of fun-but-labor-intensive class assignments like these that have kept me occupied for the past couple of months.
